A delegation led by APNEMC Chairman Siddique Anzar met with senior journalist Hafiz Tahir Khalil at his office (The News/Jang, Islamabad).
During the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the country’s situation, journalistic responsibilities, and the current challenges faced by the media. Speaking on the occasion, Hafiz Tahir Khalil said that journalism is not merely a profession but a responsibility that must be carried out with integrity, balance, and a focus on public interest. He also urged young journalists to make truth and principles an integral part of their professional lives.
The delegation included APNEMC Women Wing Islamabad Chairperson Sobia Khan and other members, while a longtime friend, Waqar, was also present.
The members of the delegation paid tribute to Hafiz Tahir Khalil’s journalistic services, stating that his simplicity, deep insight, and principled stance serve as a guiding light for the new generation. The meeting was described as important and highly informative.
